“V” is for the League of Women Voters

In this political primary season, the Albert Gore Research Center presents its League of Women Voters of Murfreesboro Records. These records document the activities of the nonpartisan League of Women Voters’ Murfreesboro chapter. Founded in 1957, the chapter participates in government to promote and encourage suffrage through programs, initiatives and publications. The first featured image is a League of Women Voters and Wonder Woman pin. The second image is a publication of the Murfreesboro chapter regarding one of its issues of concern: land use and zoning.
