Saunders Juvenile Music Club Year Book, 1937-38

The Saunders Juvenile Music Club was founded in 1934 and was named after E. Mai Saunders. Saunders was the head of the Music Department at Middle Tennessee State Normal School. The club’s membership consisted of children between the ages of 6 and 13 who had pursed the study of music in any manner. This year book highlights the club’s activities from 1937-1938, including lectures and visits from composers, intended to encourage interest in different musical activities.
